The Boston Terrier is a high-spirited, intelligent, gentle, well-mannered dog native to New England and highly popular throughout North America. His appearance is more to the likeness of a Bulldog than a terrier. He is a more relaxed dog than most terrier breeds lacking in the desire to hunt but having a passion to play and clown around.
Boston Bulldogs are an affectionate dog with large, expressive eyes and a strong desire for human companionship. He has a sturdy, solid build and playful, charming personality that will easily win you over.
This is a sensitive breed of dog who will respond well to positive and reward type training, but will not respond well to being harshly handled. Treat them gently, reward them with treats and praise, provide them with companionship, and you will have yourself a wonderful, protective, and loyal pal for life.
